Retreats
Where meaningful journeys begin…

For the last ten years, retreats have been an important part of my own journey, both as a teacher and as a participant. I have had the privilege of living and working in retreat spaces across different parts of the world, where I witnessed the profound impact of stepping away from everyday life and creating intentional space for reflection, connection, and self-exploration.
These experiences inspired me to create my own retreats. I believe that spending a few days immersed in nature, away from the usual rhythms and demands of daily life, while gathering around a shared intention and meaningful theme, gives us an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, with others, and with a more authentic way of being.

Soul Medicine Retreat
April 28th – May 2nd 2027 / HeartSpace House, Limoges, France
What if the medicine you’re looking for is already within you?
If you’re longing for a space beyond the incessant demands of everyday life – to breathe, to feel, to play, to create and to connect with life – this retreat is for you. Once you slow down and listen, you often find that coming home to yourself is simpler than you’d expect.
We have curated a programme designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself and remember something busyness can make us forget: that your own wisdom and creative life force are a source of medicine for the soul.
You don’t need to be an artist, an experienced yoga practitioner, or have any previous experience with the practices we offer. Just come as you are, with a little curiosity and a willingness to explore.
What Will We Explore?
Through creativity, intuitive movement, yoga, meditation, sound and other therapeutic and experiential practices, we’ll create space to reconnect with ourselves, with nature and with life itself.
We will explore what happens when we slow down enough to listen, leave room for the unexpected, and meet life with more openness and curiosity.
There will be space for both connection and solitude, guided experiences and unstructured time, meaningful conversations and moments when words aren’t needed.

What Will I Take Home?
Our intention is for you to leave with more than the memories of a retreat.
You’ll go home with practices and skills you can use again: simple ways of moving, breathing and being that help you to connect deeply with yourself. They’re your own soul medicine, and they’re yours to keep.
Whenever life gets loud on your return home, you’ll know how to pause, check in and give yourself what you need. Your creativity, your instincts and your capacity for aliveness are not things you need to search for outside yourself…because soul medicine is something we simply need the space to remember.

Who Is Facilitating?
We’re Rachel and Derya. Between us we’ve been teaching yoga for over 20 years, and have hosted more than 100 retreats, across Europe, Asia and South America. We met seven years ago while working at an internationally renowned retreat centre in Cambodia, and we’ve shared a love of retreats as medicine for the soul ever since. We’ve both watched over and over as people arrive tired and tense, only to leave lighter within mere days. Facilitating retreats will always be the work we love most.
Our experience really is what sets this retreat apart. We’ve facilitated and managed retreats at some of the most prominent centres in the world, and we bring thousands of hours of training in yoga therapy, bodywork, psychotherapy and trauma-informed care to everything we do. All of this goes into making your experience with us feel safe, supported and properly restful.

Other Recommended Retreats
Over the years, I have had the privilege of being part of retreat communities that have deeply influenced my own journey. While I create and host my own retreats, I also feel grateful to share places that I personally trust and recommend.

Hariharalaya – Cambodia
I am proud to be part of the Hariharalaya community in Cambodia, a yoga and meditation retreat center that has deeply influenced my own path as a teacher and practitioner. I highly recommend exploring their retreats if you feel called to experience a supportive environment that brings together yoga, meditation, community, nature, creativity and self-exploration.
